A 50% deposit is required on all taxidermy work before we begin. This is based on the standard price and does not include any charges for custom alterations, natural habitat, bases, crates, or shipping. All taxidermy work will be paid in full before delivery or shipment.
We have no control over any skin or trophy prior to our receiving it for tanning and/or mounting. Many factors have a definite effect on the final results of tanning. such as primeness of specimen, time of year, climatic conditions, and the care of the skin or trophy in the field when it was killed. Occasionally, a skin will not tan, or goes to pieces during the tanning process due to improper handling before shipment to us, or because of some defect in the skin for which we cannot be responsible. For these reasons, we cannot assume any responsibility or offer any guarantee of the tanning of any skin. Also, this statement releases Nature's Design Taxidermy from any responsibility for damage to the mount due to loss by fire, theft, or loss in transit.
If upon completion, said mount is not picked up in thirty days or arrangements made from date of notice, mount will be sold and deposit forfeited.
